oh boy were they fat and happy.

so Scott and i decided to go on an adventure. we got in the car and started driving, found a super cool wildlife reserve and watched some geese and ducks then got back on the road, drove by a buffalo farm, a pony riding place and wound up in Lincoln city. we decided to keep driving, went to a lookout area at Depoe beach it was an amazing view and couldn't have been a better day for the beach, it was 60 degrees no wind and the sun was out the entire day. we kept driving until we got to Newport around noon walked up and down the historic beachfront ate at Mo's (famous for its clam chowder) demolished a delicious crab. after lunch we strolled into the candy store invested in some salt water taffy. we went to the undersea gardens and saw creeeeeeeepy looking wolf eels. then we went to the wax museum took a candid photo with the one and only Mr. depp. then we topped it off with Ripley's believe it or not. the sun was almost setting so we found a beach and hiked down to the water and watched the sun set on the beach. after that we drove back. what would have taken us about an hour and 45 minutes took us about 4 hours. we got ice cream at dairy queen, hit up the outlet mall in Lincoln city on the way home. then drove by spirit mountain casino. drove in, parked and thought (why not) we went everywhere else we might as well stop at the super cool looking casino. we get out of the car and the huge casino was on our right and the huge play land was on our right. we debated for about five minutes before we decided that the kiddy land and arcade was wayyyyy cooler lol. so we run (literally) to the arcade and play games for 2 hours got matching braclets then decided to finally head back home. we got back super late but all in all. it was the most fun I've ever had in one day.

so..this is the Reser stadium in corvallis Oregon its ENORMOUS, full of orange, but despite the fan turnout. ducks won of course! 65 to 38 I think. we KILLED the beavers. it was one of the best games ive watched.

there will be many more to come im sure :)

so abbey, missy, blake, adrian and i decided to take a mini vaca saturday night. blake came down and abbey, missy and i drove to adrians house in west salem for a dorm vaca. danced the night away got hyped up on energy drinks watched a bazzilion movies and ate way to much popcorn but it was a good getaway before a stressful week to come :)

im stealing him. this...is DAN the sweetest dog ever slept next to me alone with peppy adrians papillion and dorathy her wrinkle dog i cant remember what breed but i stayed warm and cozy all night. DAN is verrrrrry old but oh so cute :)

so it all started with me complaining about my lack of nail polish when the boys decided to not only paint my nails but do the whole pedicure thannnnng, cuticles and all haha in any case it took 45 minutes because apparently painting nails is a very tedious job. haha.

small world here in Monmouth made my new best friend who just happens to be one of my friends way back from kindergarten crazzzzy! what 8 years later he still recognized me.

we found this amaaazing mexican restaurant, its sketchy on the outside but delicious! and this is ruby who ate 5 baskets of chips before our order even came.

then to top off the night on the way back to the dorm this guy walks by ....in a dress....and he was with his parents? he looked wayyyy to comfortable in this smashing dress and bright red lipstick. despite his girlish figure, he was, undoubtedly a guy.

so, these are my favorite western freshman, ive adopted them since my roommate has gone home for the weekend and since my dorm sucks no one is ever in it and its always dead quiet the dorm across the road is much more entertaining haha. In any case, western has this competition for the freshman to make you tube videos during new student week (this past week) anyways, krister, rio, brady and some other kids decided that this was going to be thier video, we're almost 100% sure they will win the 500$ scholarships that are awarded to the winners. some crazy kids but it was hilarious to watch thats for sure (keep in mind none of these guys knew each other they made this 3 hours after they moved in on Sunday haha!

PLUS they introduced Frito pies the ultimate "man dinner" to me one night when the cafeteria was closed its chili, in a bowl with Frito's mixed in its AMAZING. anyways, enjoy :)

The camera has a cool thing where it can take one color in the picture and make everything else black and white. Beats having to do the editing in photoshop for sure!

when we got to the top we broke out the Pb&j's and then these furry critters decided it was lunch time for them as well. verrrry cute until one bit chris. but still cute :)

haha...priceless.

The views were amazing the hike was great the day couldnt have been better....but

the best part was I thought I was in decent shape but then found out im not after huffing and puffing the whole way up yet chris was barely out of breath...what the heck.

but all in all the view from the top was absolutely amazing, well worth the mile or so uphill hike.
